Oasis Self Storage Faq's

We offer a full range of self storage services with storage units from small and large sizes. You have the only key to your storage unit and a personalised code to access the site. We offer valet services but keep you in control.

• Oasis Storage offers door to door valet service( Oasis Storage transport a 20ft container to your home or business, you fill the container, and we return to bring it safely back to the storage facility).
• We have an ILoad van available for you to use on the move into your storage space. Whatever you need, we tailor our service to accommodate you. We work very closely with local companies that we can recommend for additional moving services. Careful handling and securing ensure your items arrive safe and undamaged.

Our modern facility contains storage units of all sizes from small to large, designed to provide for your needs without extra cost. All of our storage units are made from the highest quality steel so your possessions are kept safe from the elements at all times.

Oasis Storage has an emphasis on security. The site is fully fenced, requiring a personalised key code for access. The entire facility is covered by 24/7 cameras and lighting. Your items are in good hands with Oasis Storage.

Oasis Storage is partnered with Midland Insurance brokers, a well known and respected insurance company. We can arrange an insurance quote based on the value of your items.

You can store almost anything you want. The only exceptions are - Hazardous and Flammable Materials, Illegal or Stolen Goods, Firearms or Explosives, Foodstuffs or Organic Material.

We just ask that you give us 7 days notice on your move out. Within 7 days of you moving out, we will also refund any money that you have paid in advance and your security deposit as long as no damage has been done to the storage space at all. 

1 day but we have a minimum charge of 1-month rent. Please contact us for further information.

Yes, you can and your monthly unit rental amount will be altered to suit the size you move into. 

You can bring them down yourself in your own vehicle.

We have a valet service that allows a 20ft container to be delivered to your home. You can pack over 48 hours, and then it will be returned to the storage facility - Oasis Storage, 120 Burnside Road, Ormeau. You have access to your storage space anytime from 5am – 8pm 7 days per week. Alternatively, we can recommend quality and reliable local removalists to help you with your move. 

Only with written authority from you will we allow someone else to access your space, they will also need to have a key. 

Current access times are between 5 am – 8 pm 7 days a week.

The price you are quoted includes your storage charges, security deposit and GST.

• You will need a padlock to secure your unit.
• For insurance, you may already have a home contents policy that will cover you whilst in storage, let your insurance company know that you are storing with us and you should be covered. If not, we offer Insurance at extremely competitive rates through CGU.

• You can pay through Cash, Master Card, Visa ( 1.5 % surcharge), Bpay and Direct debit.
• Payments can also be made in person or over the phone

Payment is one month in advance on the move in and then on the anniversary date of each month thereafter. If you pay for 6 months or more in advance, further discounts may apply

Yes, you need your own padlock, that way you’re guaranteed to be the only person who has a key

Depending on our availability it will be within 24 hours. Just call us and we will arrange a time, complete the application form, arrange security deposit and advance payment. Then we will give you an access code.

Please come and visit so we can show you around and you can decide what suits you best. Our wide variety of sizes means you are not tied into renting a standard sized unit which may be much bigger than you need. Please see our pricing information sheet to see the full range of sizes available.

The Oasis storage containers are available in 4 standard sizes

• 20ft Container - 33.1m3(5.9m long x 2.35m wide x 2.4m high)
• 1/2 Container -14.2m3(2.85m long x 2.2m wide x 2.2m high).
• 1/3 Container - 9.5m3(1.9m long x 2.2m wide x 2.2m high).
• 1/4 Container -7.3m3(1.4m long x 2.2m wide x 2.2m high).

The Ormeau site is equipped with a security system including CCTV surveillance on the inside and outside of the facilities. You will be given an access code so you can enter. This code also identifies who you are so we know at all times who comes and leaves which gives you peace of mind.

Our standard storage containers are fitted with steel lock covers to protect the padlock from being cut.

Only A-grade (seaworthy) containers are used and regular maintenance is carried out to ensure the containers remain in this condition.
